BMus (Hons)

I've been in choirs for over 10 years have held a number leadership positions within the choirs. I have a passion for making music with groups and love working within the choir space. Starting with the Höerskool Dinamika Choir is a challenge I am excited about.
I look forward to working with the choir and connecting with them and the school through music.
I also look forward to seeing the choir blossom and grow from strength to strength using music as a medium to unify us all.

BMus (Hons)

As someone who is passionate about music, I always seek out an opportunity to share my knowledge and zeal. My musical journey has led me to pursue many avenues in the music industry. In 2020, I completed my BMus (Hons) degree at the University of the Witwatersrand; where I studied piano with Prof. Malcolm Nay and composition with Prof. Jeanne Zaidel-Rudolph – who arranged the South African national anthem and wrote its English verse – and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Music Composition (Screen Music).
During my undergraduate years, I performed with and accompanied singers such as Lira and Lebo Sekgobela. I have also performed with many classical ensembles including the former Wits Orchestra. My journey has allowed me to compose music for string quartets, orchestras, jazz ensembles as well as music for film. One of my greatest aspirations is to empower a generation of young, creative and zealous musicians.
I am honoured to be a part of the Hoërskool Dinamika team and look forward to seeing our choir flourish on every stage. There is no doubt that we have some strong and enthusiastic vocalists – an excellent recipe for success! It goes without saying that this journey will not only give students an opportunity to perform on different stages, but will also provide students with a rich musical knowledge and a vast repertoire
